2 v 1 Overlap to Goal

The Feeder begins play with a pass out to Player A (or B), and the defender releases with the Feeder’s first touch. Player A plays a square ball to Player B, and runs an overlap around him. From there, play continues 2 v 1 to goal. If the defender wins the ball, he can score in the two small goals set up just outside of the penalty area. Upon completion, The Feeder re-starts play with the next set of players.

This session begins with a dynamic warm up and progresses through a combination passing circuit, match related small-sided games, free play and a cool down. The session gets more demanding as the players get into the flow of practice. Require one touch passing, increase the speed of play, get picky about the timing of the runs and the speed of the thru passes.
