Finishing Circuit

Drill 1 – The forward has the freedom of movement. The midfielder must dribble toward the attacker at speed. The forward must make a run and receive a pass before shooting at goal.

Drill 2 – The midfielder passes the ball into the forward who turn with one touch and shots at goal.

Drill 3 – The forward has to dribble through the mannequins then shoot at goal.

3v3 Counter Attack

Three teams - Continuous 3v3 game.

The team in the middle zone must start the game by attacking one the opponents’ goals.

If successful in scoring the team turn, receive a new ball from the coach and attack the opposite goal

However if the defenders win the ball or manage to stop the attacking team scoring then they must break out and receive the ball from the coach to launch the next attack.

3v3 Counter Attack + Neutrals

One neutral goes into the center zone and plays as a midfielder for both teams (depending on ability level limit to two touches).

The other neutral players go into the end zones and work as forwards for the attacking team.

The rotation of the teams remains the same as in the previous game but this time they have a 5v3 when attacking as they can use their extra attacker or pass backwards to their supporting midfielder in the “free zone”.
