Is winning the MAC Hermann trophy an indicator of future greatness in international women’s soccer?
Three former MAC Hermann winners have suited up for the U.S. Women’s National Team during their run to the World Cup Final taking place on Sunday. All three have played valuable minutes for the team including Kelley O’Hara (Stanford ’09), who put the game out of reach on Tuesday evening with a beautiful volley into the back of the net for her first goal with the national team. The other two former winners currently playing with the USWNT have also had an impact.
