Increase Stamina and Endurance from Progressive Soccer
Long Ball Drill from Become Elite
Center Mid/Central Defender Long Ball Drill! This is a great drill for central players that need to receive a ball, have a good first touch, then quickly and accurately switch the ball in the air. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ How to: 1. Create a 3x3 yard box somewhere in the center circle of the field. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 2. Start on one side of the box and either roll the ball towards yourself or have a partner pass it into you, then with the instep of your back foot, create space by tapping the ball into space. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 3. The ball should enter the box through the bottom and you must hit your pass before it leaves the area. 4. Aim for the exact center of the far goal. Your pass should be straight, high, and powerful. It should have backspin, but not too much that it takes away from the power. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 5. Perform this for about 10 times for each foot and count how many quality passes you get out of the ten. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #BecomeElite ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

11-Minute Wall Work from YFutbol
Circle Runs from Trainer Gorres
Circle runs are essential for athletes, and especially important for DE/OLB Lorenzo Alexander. Acceleration doesn't always happen in a straight line during the game. These are also great for building ankle mobility and strength. I like using a lax circle, about 5 yards in diameter. #TrainWithTheBest
