Soccer Social

After a week long hiatus, Soccer Social has returned to bring you the social media highlights of your favorite soccer stars from the past week. This week the USWNT continued winning in every aspect of life. Mix Diskerud and Maurice Edu both tried their hand at Instagram music video stardom.  Robert Lewandowski lost his mind and scored five goals against Wolfsburg and more.

To begin, lets take a look and see if we think either Mix Diskerud or Maurice Edu deserve a shot on Lip Sync Battle. Mix and teammate Khiry Shelton try their hand at Chris Brown and T-Pain's "Kiss Kiss". They definitely get points for high energy and enthusiasm but the execution is a bit sloppy.

Up next we have Maurice Edu singing along to Timbaland and Drake's "Say Something". Edu goes with the black and white filter and puts on a smoldering look to deliver Drake's lines. Two things: Who is driving? And here's to hoping he backs up his hashtag #albumcomingsoon with an actual album featuring Conor Casey with an auto-tune. I have to give Edu the win here over Mix and Khiry although no one knew they were in a competition.

Impromptu music video! 😏😂😎 #albumcomingsoon

The Chicago Fire hosted their annual Soccer and Style fashion show and despite being cemented to the bottom of the standings and looking headed further down everyone looked rather dapper and upbeat. Doesn't Lovel Palmer look a little too mischevious?

Sean Johnson, who apparently adopted a cat, just looks hilariously awesome in this laser eyed cat t-shirt. I want one, but with a french bulldog wearing a helmet with a laser on top battling the laser eyed cat...just imagine how glorious...

This @threadless shirt on rescue cat dad @sjohn25 is 👌🏼 #SoccerandStyle

It is that beautiful time of year once again. FIFA 16 has been released and now any trials and tribulations you may have had in FIFA 15 can be washed away and blamed on poor gameplay. Surely the new FIFA 16 will be more conducive to your style of play and you will soon be the FIFA master of the world, or you will at least get to level 5 on seasons mode before getting frustrated and decide to wait until FIFA 17. One of the big headlines of this year's edition of FIFA is the addition of 12 women's national teams. The USWNT was at the FIFA release party to celebrate in style.

Throw up the three! #Tres #Trois

Just to make sure their week wasn't boring a few of the USWNT also joined the set of College Gameday. Do you think Lee Corso is a closet NWSL fan?

This next pic from #LeftFootStudio, aka Brek Shea, most definitely features the pensive look of a man who just hit his drive into the pond. I'm calling it, he hit it into the water.

Real Nice!

Finally, we have the incredible Robert Lewandowski's five goals in nine minutes smushed into one Instagram video for your viewing pleasure. The scary thing is the video is basically in real time.

#Lewandowski's 5 goals in less than 9 mins after coming in from the bench.. 😯 #Bayern #Beast!
